For Feb it’s about low impact and high results! We’ll be lifting, toning, and burning at Pure Barre in the Fulton River District. It’s been over a year since I’ve taken a barre class and lemme tell you, if you think this is a class for punk asses, THINK AGAIN!!! This class is going to have your ups and thighs, and parts of your body you don’t even know exist ON FIRE. I’m NOT EXAGGERATING. Be sure to have sticky socks with no toe cut outs as you cannot workout without the socks, a water bottle, and your cutest workout gear. #yas! You’ll want to pay attention to the instructors cues, feel the burn, and vibe to the music as this is a beat driven workout (which makes it bearable!) lol.

What to Bring: Purre Barre recommend that you arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins. Once you fill out a short waiver, the teacher will show you where you can leave your belongings and help you get the equipment you’ll be using during the day’s class – typically a set of light weights, a ball, and a tube. Your teacher will bring you a mat halfway through class. Once you’ve got everything you need, just find a spot in the studio where you feel comfortable, facing the front mirror.
You must cancel 3 hours prior to class start time to avoid $15 late cancel fee (with unlimited packages) or loss of a class (with a class pack).
NO late arrivals are admitted to class. You must be in class when class starts. This is for your safety and the safety of others.
Plan to stay for the entire class. Leaving early is disruptive to other clients.
If you are NEW, arrive 15 mins early so we can get you checked in and safely set up for class. If we don't have enough time for you to meet your teacher, discuss injuries/modifications, get your waiver, etc. you may be asked to reschedule.
Wear socks that cover your feet (no wraps or toe cuts outs please). (Socks are available for purchase at the studio for about $15. You can also grab sticky sock from Amazon. I like to wear these socks around the house in comparison to slippers, so you can still get good use out of them even if you only ever take 1 PB class)
Wear workout pants, leggings, or shorts to at least the knee. This not only keeps your legs warm, but is far more comfortable when using certain equipment like resistance tubes on the lower body. Trust us ;)
